Rural Exchange (ruralexchange.co.uk) is an online marketplace and classifieds platform connecting buyers and sellers within the UK rural economy. It is operated by QA MYRIAD LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Rural Exchange — whether as a visitor, registered user, buyer, or seller — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

5. Listing Rules

When creating a listing on Rural Exchange, you agree that:

• All information in your listing is accurate, truthful, and not misleading.
• You have the legal right to sell or advertise the item, property, or service listed.
• Prices are clearly stated or marked as “Price on Application” (POA).
• Images used are your own or you have the rights to use them, and they accurately represent what is being listed.
• You will respond promptly and honestly to enquiries from interested parties.
• You will mark listings as sold or remove them promptly when they are no longer available.

All listings are subject to moderation. We reserve the right to remove any listing that we determine, in our sole discretion, does not meet these standards.

6. Prohibited Content

The following are strictly prohibited on Rural Exchange:

• Illegal items, substances, or services of any kind.
• Counterfeit, stolen, or misrepresented goods.
• Items subject to legal restrictions without the required licences or disclosures.
• Spam, duplicate listings, or listings posted purely for advertising purposes unrelated to a genuine sale or service.
• Offensive, discriminatory, or harassing content.
• Any content that infringes the intellectual property rights of a third party.

7. Buyer & Seller Conduct

Rural Exchange is a platform that connects buyers and sellers. We are not a party to any transaction between users. You acknowledge that:

• All transactions are solely between the buyer and seller. Rural Exchange accepts no responsibility for the outcome of any transaction.
• You should conduct your own due diligence before entering into any agreement or making any payment.
• Rural Exchange does not guarantee the accuracy of any listing, the quality of any item, or the conduct of any user.
• You agree to interact with other users honestly, respectfully, and in good faith.
• You will not use contact details obtained through the platform to send unsolicited marketing or spam.

8. Platform Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee that Rural Exchange will be available at all times, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may take the platform down for maintenance, updates, or for reasons beyond our control without prior notice.

9. Intellectual Property

All content and software comprising the Rural Exchange platform — including design, code, branding, and editorial content — is owned by QA Myriad Ltd or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

By posting a listing, you grant QA Myriad Ltd a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and promote your listing content within the Rural Exchange platform and in related marketing materials for the purposes of operating the service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Rural Exchange is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, QA Myriad Ltd makes no warranties — express or implied — including as to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, QA Myriad Ltd and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use Rural Exchange.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim.
